NC Science Olympiad Joins Forces with NC State University

NC Science Olympiad (NCSO) is proud to announce that we have officially joined NC State as a university program. As a powerhouse in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education, NC State has long been a source of support for NCSO. By joining forces, we will strengthen our ability to provide quality K-12 STEM educational opportunities to K-12 students in North Carolina.

This partnership may not surprise some, as many of you have expressed support for this collaboration. Over the past 25 years, NC State has hosted State Science Olympiad Tournaments and the 1997 National Science Olympiad Tournament and provided countless resources to our program. NC State has become more than just a supporter of NCSO; it is home.

This partnership will strengthen the shared goal of both institutions to expand access to STEM learning opportunities outside of the classroom. As the largest STEM competition in the state and the largest Science Olympiad program in the country, we pledge our continued commitment to providing quality K-12 STEM education opportunities for students across the state.
