Egg-O-Naut
Before the tournament, teams will design and build up to two rockets. At the tournament, the rockets will be launched outdoors and evaluated based on how long they remain aloft while carrying an Egg-O-Naut (a raw Grade A large chicken egg). The objective is for the rocket to achieve the longest flight time while returning the Egg-O-Naut safely to the ground without breaking the egg.
Inclement Weather Plan: The event runs unless there is thunder or lightning or the Event Leader determines the wind/rain is too strong to safely run the competition. Otherwise, the event runs since everyone experiences the same conditions.
