Description:

Participants will be assessed on their understanding of the anatomy and physiology for the nervous, special senses, and endocrine systems of the human body.

Materials:

Each team may bring one 8.5 x 11″ sheet of paper that may contain information on both sides in any form and from any source along with two stand alone non-programmable, non-graphing calculators. Affixed labels, and well as multiple sheets of paper, are prohibited. 

Scoring:

High score wins. Predetermined questions and the quality of free-response answers will be used to break ties.

Recommendations:

– The topics to be covered are clearly outlined in the official rules. Write these topics out and make notes as you study each area.

– For each area, make sure basic anatomy can be identified both in a diagram and on a model.

– Have a definitions page to study from for each topic area for tricky terms.
