Coaches Conference FAQ
What is the new format this year?
The 2025 Coaches Conference is a hybrid format for everyone. There is one in-person day for Division A and one in-person day for Division B/C. In-person training will focus on build and new events. The session will last longer and be more hands-on so that coaches get the most our of their time.
All divisions will have access to online training with live and pre-recorded sessions for test based events. All attendees will get access to a video library of all virtual content to access as needed.

Where do I park?
McKimmon Center – Parking in the front lots of the McKimmon Center is free and usually plentiful. There are three smaller parking lots on each side of the Center that are reserved for University employees. Visitors are asked to park in designated visitor parking spaces in order to avoid ticketing.
Where can I find all the information I need for scheduling and locations?
The Division A and Division B/C schedules include information on session locations and times. The first tab is dedicated to in-person training and the second tab is for live/pre-recorded training. You can also find a map of McKimmon Center here.
Where can I find the schedule for the Virtual programming?
See the second tab within the schedules linked above. All attendees will receive access to our video library – you will find all event presentations and videos for your viewing.
Where do I find the zoom links?
Links for all zoom sessions will be posted in the schedule spreadsheet.The Division A and Division B/C schedules include information on session locations and times.
What is the best method of payment for Coaches Conference shopping?
The NCSO store and NC State’s campus is credit card ONLY, so please come prepared.
How do I obtain my CEU certificate?
Once you complete our conference survey, you will receive a copy of your CEU certificate the week after the conference.
Are meals provided?
Yes! We will provide snacks throughout the day and lunch.
Do you have preferred/partner hotels?
McKimmon center offers discounts at select hotels. Please visit their website to learn more about partner hotels and discounts.
If our group is small, would it be possible to make it to all informative events if we only have ONE coach?
Yes, none of our sessions overlap this year so one coach can attend all of the sessions.
Is there a price list of merchandise that will be sold?
Yes, you can find the price list on our website.
Will the LIVE Zoom session be recorded and shared after the fact?
Yes, all LIVE Zoom sessions will be recorded and uploaded to the conference library. In Person sessions will NOT be recorded, but registrants will receive access to the slideshow from each session.
If I’m the only coach for a big team, would you recommend bringing a coworker with me to the conference?
Yes, it is best to bring a colleague with you if you have a large team and will share responsibilities. Just note that they will have to register and pay.
Do you have to be a teacher to be a coach? I am a parent volunteer and was planning to be head coach.
No, a coach doesn’t have to be a teacher BUT you will need principal approval and a school employee willing to sign paperwork.
What do I do if I have issues registering for the conference?
