Required Materials: Writing instrument

Description:

Teams will answer questions, solve problems, and analyze data pertaining to classic, evolutionary, and molecular genetics. 

Materials:

Each team may bring writing utensils, two stand-alone non-programmable, non-graphing calculators, and one 8.5” x 11” sheet of paper that may contain information on both sides in any form and from any source. Affixed labels, as well as multiple sheets of paper, are prohibited. 

Scoring:

High score wins. Points are given based on a scoring rubric that takes into account the difficulty level of questions, accuracy and quality of answers, and use of proper scientific methods. elected questions will be used as tiebreakers.
