Description:
Teams will build and bring 1 puck, complete lab activities and answer a series of questions related to the materials science of ceramics with an emphasis on chemical and crystalline structure, and behavior.
Materials:
Eye protection. Safety Equipment, an N95 mask, writing utensil, and a stand-alone calculator of any type. One 8.5″ x 11″ sheet of paper with information on both sides in any form and from any source. Any or all items from the Division C Chemistry Events Lab Equipment List.
Scoring:
Highest Score Wins. Total score = Design Log + Puck Testing + Written Test + Lab Activities.
