Thanks to the generous donations of the North Carolina Science Olympiad community we are happy to announce scholarship opportunities for the 2027 tournament season.

We are excited to offer scholarships that fully cover team registration and/or coaches conference training.

To ensure these resources go where they are needed most, applicants must state a financial need for a scholarship. Priority will be given to Title 1 schools and teams in Tier 1 counties.

Only teams who provide a detailed, well-justified statement of financial need for an NC Science Olympiad scholarship will be considered. 

What is Covered?

• 25 team registration scholarships (One registration fee waived per school)
• 25 coaches conference scholarships (One conference fee waived per school)

Important Deadlines

• Apply by: September 30, 2026
• Results announced: October 6, 2026
